“ This is the perfect spot to come when you're in the mood for a tasty breakfast and coffee. There's a ton of indoor & outdoor seating options. The service is very quick as well! I always opt for a cold brew & avo toast (add bacon on the side). The bread it is served on makes for a delicious breakfast choice! They also have a ton of pastry options for all of the sweet lovers! ”
“ Wow, oh wow~! My friend found this gem of a place and it did not disappoint. The almond croissant was phenomenal--flaky layers with a generous amount of almond paste....it was so delicious, I bought another one to go....and one of everything else. I loved their plain croissant--it was light, buttery and an absolute delight to eat. I would add photos but we ate them all. My favorites were the Almond Croissant and the Plain Croissant--5 stars~! ”
“ I was passing by Noe Valley on a late morning and thought to pick up some pastries for dessert. There are a few other bakeries in the neighborhood, but I felt like a croissant. I was told by my daughter that their key lime croissant was especially good! Now, she has a citrus allergy which gives her an itchy rash on her palms, but she likes this croissant so much that she's willing to eat this even though she's allergic! So I had to give this one a try. I also picked up an orange blossom & zaatar croissant as well, since it was the last one left. The cafe was cozy and modern. And the lady behind the counter was sweet and patient as I thought about what I wanted. KEY LIME CROISSANT ~ this one has key lime filling that tastes like you're eating a slice of key lime pie! They give you a substantial amount of filling too! The croissant is flakey and buttery as it should be. Nicely presented with a lime on top! 5/5 ORANGE BLOSSOM & ZAATAR CROISSANT ~ this one has a cardamom spice and the texture of the filling is like an almond croissant. It was good, but not great as there was less filling than anticipated. I didn't taste much of the zaatar. I think there's just a sprinkle on top. A bit underwhelmed. 3.5/5 I'd come back for a key lime croissant when I'm in the area again as it was memorable and delicious! Now I know why my daughter loves the key lime! ”
“ My husband and I had breakfast here and we were pleased with our food. We woudl definitely come back. I had the sesame chicken salad (I always appreciate an establishment that serves greens early in the day) and my husband had the breakfast sandwich. Both were great. We also got the famous turmeric monkey bread and it was excellent. The only thing is they don't have Wifi here and the service inside the restaurant is horrible so don't pick up food here and try to eat if you're having to check your phone for a work meeting. ”
“ 9:30 am, Saturday: As they say on Instagram, I was today years old when I discovered cast iron sourdough made fresh daily at Vive La Tarte. Anything on top of that bread is going to shine, so no surprise I'm in love with their avocado toast. Avo mash, farmer's cheese, topped with pickled tomatillos, cherry tomatoes. I customized a bit substituting fried egg & nixed the basil aioli. Perfection. There's a parklet & cafe tables outside. Lovely interior, plenty of seating. First thing In the door you are met with a case of pastries that make you want to believe carbs aren't real. At the back is a full on bakery. It was all I could do not to buy a giant bag full of every pastry they had left. And now I'm regretting it. Next time. ”
“ Cute modern, but naturally aesthetic coffee shop/bakery, great for work-study or catch-up! Was in the area for coffee and stopped by at this shop. Got a hot mocha and the pastry box to go. The wait wasn't terrible-- ~5mins for my order. The mocha was very traditional. Light on sweetness. Unfortunately, mine was served lumpy and somewhat poorly mixed. By the time I got halfway through the drink, lumps of melted chocolate came through. The pastry box consisted of 5 different pastry items: - Regular Croissant~ which was fluffy, had great layers, buttery. - Almond Croissant~ Same fluffy and buttery base with toasted almonds. Not too sweet. - Chocolate Croissant~ Same fluffy and buttery base, one row of chocolate. (Great heated up in air fryer prior to eating). - Orange Blossom and Zaatar Croissant~ this was an interesting one, and not my type of pastry. The orange flavor is present but with the mix of zaatar, this croissant was quite flavorful. I recommend trying, but certainly not for everyone's taste - Tumeric Monkey Bread~ This pastry was also interesting. Although sweet, there was an underlying spicy feeling. All in all this place was interesting. With decent space and a quiet setting during the weekdays, this place makes a nice work-from-home or study area. ”
“ Took a Summer stroll to Vive La Tarte on 24th street in Noe Valley in San Francisco to get some tasty pastry. I like their croissants especially the key lime croissant which are consistent with just the appropriate amount of sweet and not too sour taste. It is pretty majestic and it's my jam and is only available on the weekend. So I got the plain croissant to go which I usually add the fromage elsewhere. I had to try their S.F Cheesecake and it was a pleasant surprise. I left no crumb untouched. It was so good that next time I will get another piece of the SF Cheese cake and pair it with a glass of red wine. I also got the matcha latte with some handmade art curation which complemented the handcrafted pastries .Vive La Tarte is a great value when enjoying a peaceful atmosphere where you can feel it in the air with the drinks , food , and pastries on 24th street in the heart of the Noe Valley. Savor every moment of the Summertime with their sweet and savory pastries that are handmade, Come take a tour of Vive La Tarte for high quality pastries which are top grade ”
“ So glad they finally opened up their dining room. It makes having their key lime croissant with a hot cup of Americano a much more enjoyable experience. It's kinda hard eating that croissant with all that custard oozing out and the meringue getting on your nose as you are standing on the sidewalk. I also don't have enough hands to hold my coffee too as I'm devouring that croissant and wiping cream off my face and brushing off croissant flakes. Anyway, their coffee is great. I take their Americano black and don't need to add cream or sugar as it's not bitter. And I really do love that croissant. It's all I ever get here. The pastry cream is so nice and tart and the meringue just balances out the sweetness of the cream. They also have toast and other brunchy food. One of these days I will try something new. Service is good and they have plenty tables indoors. They also have limited sidewalk seating. Parking is pretty tough in the area. We parked three blocks blocks up the hill. ”
“ Delicious croissants! Very buttery and crispy. Paired it with a yummy cappuccino - get whole milk. Lots of space to sit inside and out front. Simple and minimal decor with fantastic customer service. ”
